Cologna Veneta (Verona, Veneto Region, North Italy) 2002. In the Civic Hospital, old people, mostly Alzheimer disease affected, lie in Long-stay ward. Every Friday morning, Annachiara Scapini, art teacher in the near State Secondary School, according to a medical agreement with the doctors, gathers in the Hospital living room the ill people and her schoolchildren and couples each of them to one of the old, like if they were reciprocally adopted. Then she direct a sort of creative play, based on hands movements of both child and old person, realizing various performances (drawing, sculpting, gymnastical playing, singing). The hands of the couples, and all together, interchange respect, happyness, dialog, love, life therapy. At the end of the “lesson” they all link in a tender ring-a-ring-a-roses.
