Born 1916, photo editor for magazines and newspapers as LIFE, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Ladies' Home Journal, worked with hundreds of the greatest photographers of 20th century. Responsible for saving the Capa's 11 images of D-Day after an accident destroyed most of them. Executive Editor of Magnum Photos. Now a freelance writer and editor, concerned about peace. Morris' personal prints collection has been auctioned at Paris Drouot Montaigne april 30, 2011; his memories book "Get the picture" first published in 1998, reprinted 2011 in Italy by Contrasto Publishing house: this edition will be presented at Spazio Forma, Milano, october 28th.
